GHL Phone Dialer — Privacy Policy

What This Extension Does

GHL Phone Dialer is a Chrome extension that detects phone numbers on web pages and allows you to look up the corresponding contact in your GoHighLevel (GHL) account. When a contact is not found, it provides options to create a new contact or search within GHL.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any data. Specifically:

• We do not collect, store, or transmit phone numbers you click on.
• We do not collect browsing history or the URLs of pages you visit.
• We do not have analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting.
• We do not use cookies or tracking of any kind.

Data Stored Locally

The following settings are stored in your browser's local sync storage (Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync) and are never transmitted to our servers:

• GHL Location ID — identifies your GHL sub-account
• GHL Private API Key — used solely to query the GoHighLevel API on your behalf
• GHL Domain — your white-label domain for navigation

This data stays in your Google account's sync storage and is only accessible by this extension on your device.

Third-Party API Calls

When you click a phone number, the extension makes a direct request from your browser to the GoHighLevel API (services.leadconnectorhq.com) using your own API key. This request is made directly between your browser and GoHighLevel — no data passes through any servers controlled by CSM Synergy or the extension developer.

The GoHighLevel API is subject to GoHighLevel's own Privacy Policy.

Permissions Explained

• <all_urls> — Required to detect and highlight phone numbers on any webpage you visit. The extension only reads page content to find phone number patterns; it does not send page content anywhere.
• storage — Required to save your GHL settings between browser sessions.
• tabs — Required to focus or open your GHL tab when a phone number is clicked.
• clipboardWrite — Required to copy the phone number to your clipboard for easy pasting.
• notifications — Used to alert you if the extension needs configuration.
• offscreen — Used internally by Chrome to enable clipboard write in the background.

Children's Privacy

This extension is a professional business tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the updated policy at this URL. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
